Danbury City Council, Board of Ed Members Endorse Connolly

Danbury, CT – Today, Democratic candidate for governor Sean Connolly announced a slate of endorsements from Danbury leaders, including:

  • Tom Saadi, City Council Member
  • John Esposito, City Council Member
  • Farley Santos, Board of Education Member
  • Joe Britton, Democratic Town Committee Member
  • Frank Salvatore, Democratic Town Committee Member

“Danbury is home to thriving small businesses, great schools, and a vibrant downtown. It’s truly an honor to earn the support of the leaders who’ve helped build a brighter future for the community they love,” said Connolly. “I’ve spent a lot of time in Danbury as part of my Jobs Tour, stopping at the Community Health Center, AWA Medical Supplies, Naugatuck Valley Community College, the Workspace Collective, and other great organizations. I’ve seen firsthand the strong ties Danbury Democrats and leaders have built with their community. We need more of those partnerships to help our employers, schools, and innovators succeed. I look forward to working with the Town Council, Board of Education, and Danbury DTC in the days ahead to launch Danbury—and Connecticut—on an upward trajectory.”

In February, Connolly earned the endorsement of Rep. David Arconti (D-109), representing Danbury.
